Many MLS bashers watch the PL exclusively, as I do except during the summer when MLS is the only thing on. I honestly used to bash MLS but have seen in the past year or two an incredible increase in the quality of play. It was not long ago that the PL did nothing but buy aged foreign stars, like around 1993 through 1996. Then some home grown players like Andy Cole and Alan Shearer exploded on the scene and we had the money to keep them in England. I now live in the states and enjoy watching MLS: It is what it is and it is worth checking out.

Re: Dynamo Win; Is MLS Really Inferior to the A-League (As has been speculated upon in Britain)

Fred hasn't quite been the player I expected quite frankly. Perhaps MLS is just that much better than the A-league?

Re: Dynamo Win; Is MLS Really Inferior to the A-League (As has been speculated upon in Britain)

Yes, Clarke and Casey have been the two biggest factors!

Re: Dynamo Win; Is MLS Really Inferior to the A-League (As has been speculated upon in Britain)

Casey is not the single reason the Rapids have a chance of making the play-offs. That is Colin Clarke. Note how once Clavijo pulled his head out of his butt and started playing the Ft. Collins native Clarke, Casey looked better. Now I don't want to take anything away from Casey. He's looked good. But he needs people around him making runs. And before Clarke was around, no one was doing it. Casey's part of the reason but Colin has been a big part of it too.

Re: Dynamo Win; Is MLS Really Inferior to the A-League (As has been speculated upon in Britain)

Right on Kartik! Sometimes I feel we need some well-informed passionate voices for the MLS out there in Europe.
