    I'm still not sure why in the heck FC Dallas signed Hislop to begin with when they had such a solid keeper in Sala. Was it just for a post World Cup publicity bounce?

    That was a misquote on what Welsh said anyway. There is audio posted on gotorontofc.com with what he actually said.
